Position Summary The Podiatrist is responsible for providing comprehensive podiatric medical care, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services related to conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. This role supports the organization's mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes for diverse patient populations. The Podiatrist provides evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic podiatric conditions, diabetic foot care, wound management, minor in-office procedures, and patient education regarding foot health and prevention. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders, injuries, and diseases affecting the foot, ankle, and related lower extremity structures Perform routine and complex podiatric examinations, including biomechanical assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnosis and clinical presentation Provide diabetic foot evaluations, ulcer prevention, and lower extremity wound care management Perform minor in-office procedures, including: Nail avulsions / matrixectomies Callus and corn debridement Wart treatment Abscess drainage (as clinically appropriate) Foreign body removal Soft tissue procedures within scope of practice Diagnose and manage fractures, sprains, tendon injuries, and musculoskeletal abnormalities of the foot and ankle Prescribe medications, orthotics, durable medical equipment, and other treatment modalities as appropriate Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including laboratory tests and imaging Coordinate referrals for surgical intervention, vascular consultation, wound specialists, orthopedics, or other specialties when indicated Educate patients on preventive foot care, diabetic management, footwear recommendations, and post-treatment care Maintain timely, complete, and accurate medical documentation in eClinicalWorks (EHR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and clinical meetings Maintain current licensure, DEA registration (if applicable), and credentialing requirements Comply with all clinical policies, infection control protocols, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements Tri-State Community Health Care Center

Front Desk Receptionist - Dental Clinic The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers at our dental clinic. This role is responsible for managing the front office, including greeting patients, answering phones, handling inquiries, processing appointments, and supporting various administrative tasks. The receptionist helps create a professional, welcoming, and patient-centered environment while maintaining confidentiality and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming calls; take and relay accurate messages. Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Prepare patient charts daily for scheduled dental appointments. Register and check in/out patients, including verifying and updating demographic and insurance information and obtaining required documentation and signatures. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments; send reminders as needed. Process requests and respond to inquiries from patients, dentists, specialists, and pharmacies. Assist with maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in implementation efforts. Attend required staff meetings and training sessions. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or certificate in medical or dental office administration or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a front office, receptionist, or customer service role, preferably in a dental, medical, or healthcare setting. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally (e.g., moving files or office supplies). Manual dexterity required to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer keyboard, telephone, copier). Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to communicate with patients and staff, both in person and by telephone.
