This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced medical technologies and evidence-based practices. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments, innovative treatments, and compassionate care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical evaluations of patients presenting with foot and ankle issues, including physical examinations and medical history reviews. Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, orthotic prescriptions, wound care, or surgical interventions. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Perform diagnostic procedures such as medical imaging interpretation to assist in accurate diagnosis. Provide patient education on foot health, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, physiotherapists, and primary care providers to ensure holistic patient care. Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine by engaging in ongoing professional development and clinical research. Experience Proven experience as a licensed Podiatrist with a strong background in clinical assessment and treatment of foot and ankle conditions. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or similar platforms for seamless documentation. Experience performing surgical procedures including suturing, wound care, and minor foot surgeries. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to podiatry, such as X-ray interpretation or ultrasound diagnostics. Demonstrated ability to manage inpatient and outpatient caseloads efficiently within hospital or clinic settings. Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards. Additional experience in specialized areas such as diabetic foot management, sports medicine, or pediatric podiatry is advantageous.
