Part Time QPG is seeking currently seeking a Podiatrist Physician ("DPM"). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel within an assigned portfolio of nursing home, assisted-living facilities and long-term care facilities to provide routine foot care services to residents and clients. Reporting to the Medical Director, the DPM will ensure effective patient care and quality of all nursing activities in keeping with the Standards of the Florida Board of Podiatric Medicine. Competitive wages plus travel expenses are provided. DPM's will have the opportunity to create their own schedule with QPG's scheduling team to suit your needs and the needs of patients. New graduates or experienced practitioners are welcome. Note that this position may be contracted, if required.ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES
The DPM will be responsible for ensuring that all routine foot and wound care services provided to residents and clients is of the highest quality and compliant with legislation/standards of practice.Responsibilities may include:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot and ankle conditions. Provide routine foot care, including nail trimming, callus removal, and wound care. Diagnose and treat various foot-related conditions, such as infections, ulcers, and deformities. Work closely with facility staff and healthcare teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique clinical needs. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper foot care techniques and preventative health strategies. Manage electronic scheduling and complete documentation for nursing homes, assisted living, and long term care facilities, including timely upload of clinical notes into QPG's EMR system.QUALIFICATIONS
Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with appropriate certification and licensure is required; Active DPM license required (or the ability to obtain within applicable timeframe); Board Qualified or Board Certified by the ABPM (American Board of Podiatric Medicine) and/or ABFAS (American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery); Strong clinical skills in podiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment; Possess a strong compassion for our patients and their families; Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure that each of your interactions with patients, family caregivers, clinicians, and team members is effective and meaningful; Ability to travel between different facilitate around Florida (specifically, the pan-handle region). •The salary included is for the full time role.
