Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions and injuries
  • Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to, bunionectomy, hammertoe correction, and ankle arthroscopy
  • Provide medical care for patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and arthritis
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including X-rays and ultrasounds, to determine the extent of foot and ankle problems
  • Prescribe orthotic devices, medications, or physical therapy as necessary
  • Perform wound care and suture removal
  • Administer injections for pain management or other treatments
  • Provide esthetic laser treatments for conditions such as toenail fungus or plantar warts
  • Conduct clinical research and participate in data collection for medical studies
Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of foot and ankle anatomy and medical terminology
  • Experience working in a medical office or hospital setting
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret test results accurately
  • Proficient in surgical techniques related to podiatry procedures
  • Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments for foot conditions
