Position Overview Emplify Health is seeking a Podiatric Surgeon (DPM) to join our team in Decorah, Iowa. The role will have a focus on advanced foot and ankle surgery, including a full scope modern clinical & surgical foot & ankle practice. This role also includes active participation in our accredited podiatric surgical residency program, making it ideal for a surgeon passionate about both patient care and medical education. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Surgical Practice Provide comprehensive podiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and ankle conditions Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including: Elective foot & ankle Reconstruction Foot & ankle deformity correction Diabetic foot management (wounds, infection, & limb salvage procedures) Foot & ankle trauma Manage both elective and acute surgical cases Collaborate closely with multi-specialty care teams, primary care, and rehabilitation teams within an integrated system Residency Teaching & Academic Involvement Participate in the education and mentorship of residents within our accredited DPM surgical residency program Provide hands-on surgical training, lectures, and case-based teaching Contribute to curriculum development, evaluations, and academic initiatives Support a culture of continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence Team & System Engagement Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and case conferences Participate in quality and program development initiatives Opportunity to contribute to research or scholarly activity Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree Completion of a CPME-accredited podiatric surgical residency ABFAS Board qualified or board certified Experience and/or strong interest in ankle reconstruction and advanced surgical techniques Passion for teaching and resident development Strong communication and collaborative skills Why Join Emplify Health?
