Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a part-time Podiatrist, where your expertise will directly impact patients' foot and ankle health. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive podiatric care, perform clinical assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough foot and ankle examinations, including patient history and physical assessments Diagnose conditions related to the lower extremities using clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including surgical interventions when necessary Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently Perform procedures such as orthotic casting , wart, and ingrown toenail removal with precision and aseptic technique Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, and primary care providers, to optimize patient outcomes Requirements Valid state licensure as a Podiatrist with current certification to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction Proven experience in outpatient podiatric care, including surgical procedures and sports medicine Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as X-ray or ultrasound for diagnostic purposes Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and medical coding practices like CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding Knowledge of clinical research protocols related to foot and ankle conditions is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on treatment options and preventive measures Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and adhering to infection control standards Join us in delivering exceptional podiatric care that transforms lives!
