Job Description
Freedom Med is actively seeking qualified medical providers (NP, PA, or MD) in Alpena, MI to perform contracted VA disability examinations. While working with Freedom Med, you will be conducting general medical exams for Veterans who have sought disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The examiner's role is to perform thorough examinations, review relevant medical records, and determine the degree of disability resulting from service-related conditions. The examiner will diagnose conditions related to the Veteran's claimed disability and, if needed, form an evidence-based medical opinion on whether or not the claim is due to their military service. No treatment or follow-up required after exams. Extremely flexible role, able to choose your own hours and days to work. Great way to add an additional income stream with little-to-no stress. Ability to serve those who have served. Office space is provided to see Veterans, so no need to have your own office.
