The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Podiatrist will play a crucial role in improving patients' quality of life through effective treatment plans and preventive care. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' foot and ankle conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Perform surgical procedures as necessary for various podiatric conditions. Provide education on foot care, preventive measures, and rehabilitation. Manage many diabetic-related foot conditions. Experience Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution. Active state license without restriction. Experience with geriatric population/ in long term care settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
