  • Full-time Job Overview A surgical podiatrist is sought to join a private practice group of seven podiatrists in Poughkeepsie, New York (one hour north of New York City) .
The position includes general podiatry as well as the full spectrum of surgeries, diabetic foot care and sports medicine. The group is offering a highly competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits . No private equity or corporate presence with 36-month track to partner. The group has an excellent, long-standing reputation in the Mid-Hudson Valley area. Valid state licensure or certification to practice podiatry. Proven experience in outpatient podiatric care; hospital or inpatient experience is advantageous. Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; familiarity with medical imaging interpretation is preferred. Knowledge of surgical techniques including suturing and wound management. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to foot and ankle conditions. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to perform procedures requiring aseptic technique and meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of podiatry.
