Job Description

Overview Surgical podiatrist is sought to join a busy, well-respected practice in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area. Main office is modern, well-equipped and located just minutes from the beach. The group is offering a highly competitive starting salary plus robust bonus plan and platinum-level, comprehensive benefits. Surgeries performed at nearby hospital and surgery center. This position is perfect for an experienced podiatrist or a resident/fellow seeking support and mentoring by veteran podiatrists. Please reach out for full details. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medical, surgical, or rehabilitative interventions. Perform minor surgical procedures such as toenail removals, biopsies, and wound care as needed. Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and post-treatment care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine through ongoing professional development. Manage clinic schedules efficiently to accommodate patient needs and optimize workflow. Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure or certification to practice podiatric medicine. Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions. Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures related to podiatry. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare compliance standards.
