Job Description

  • School Psychologist - Alaska | 2026-2027 School Year
  • We are seeking a dedicated
  • School Psychologist
  • to support student success by addressing a range of mental health, behavioral, and developmental needs. This role plays a critical part in evaluating students and helping determine eligibility for specialized services within the school system.
  • Position Overview
  • The School Psychologist will: + Provide on-site psychological services to students + Conduct evaluations and assessments for special education eligibility + Support students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges + Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families + Assist in developing and implementing intervention strategies

  • Minimum Requirements
  • + Active
  • state licensure/certification
  • in the state of assignment (required) + Master's degree in Psychology (preferred) + Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred) + Must comply with all professional standards of practice + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Current health requirements (TB screening, physical, CPR if applicable) + Must be at least 18 years of age
