School Psychologist in Mobile, AL ProCare - 3.3 Mobile, AL Job Details Contract 2 days ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity calls for on-site professionals ready to make a direct impact within a dynamic school environment near Mobile, AL. With positions available at both an elementary school and within a cluster of private schools, your expertise will be valued across different educational settings. Please note, interviewing will take place on-site on April 15, 2026, and only local or relocating candidates able to work in person will be considered.
Key Qualifications:
Active Alabama school psychology license (must present verification at interview) Experience working with K-12 caseloads, preferably in diverse school settings Ability to adapt to both single-site and itinerant assignments Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skillsCore Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and academic assessments to support student learning and well-being Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions Support crisis intervention and provide counseling or consultation as needed Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student Travel between assigned schools if itinerant; schedule and locations will be confirmed upon assignment Why Consider This Opportunity?
