Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a direct impact supporting students across multiple campuses as a school psychologist or psychometrist. This contract role offers the chance to work onsite with K-12 students for the duration of the school year— with a strong likelihood of renewal for extended and next school years, based on your performance. You'll be part of a dedicated team, providing services at either an established elementary or as an itinerant specialist supporting a cluster of private schools. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for students with diverse needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Alabama professional license in school psychology (mandatory) School psychology or psychometrist expertise Experience working with K-12 student populations Ability to fulfill full-time, 37.5-hour workweek onsite Willingness to travel between school sites if assigned as itinerant Compliance with timely credentialing and licensure requirements (proof of active license images required) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students, K-12 Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and support individualized plans Provide consultation and intervention services to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in meetings, team discussions, and contribute to a positive school climate Why consider this opportunity?
