Limitations apply to current State employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Behavioral Analysis. 12 months or more directly related work experience.
KIND OF WORK
Provides individual and group therapeutic services for adult patients. Develops, implements, and monitors behavior management programs for adult patients. Conducts age-appropriate psychological assessment under the supervision of a Doctoral-level Psychological to facilitate diagnosis, treatment planning and release. Participates in treatment planning for adult patients. Provides appropriate documentation in the medical record and/or elsewhere of clinical activities (e.g., psychological assessments, weekly admission notes, suicide risk assessments, forensic status updates, individual/group therapy notes, transfer notes, and psychological discharge summaries) within applicable time frames. Participates in mandatory in-service training, as well as required professional development in-service training. Conducts quarterly peer reviews within applicable time frame.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and skills in psychological testing and evaluations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to interact with patients, families and other professionals in a courteous, professional manner. Ability to make good decisions.
