Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current and valid certification/licensure as a school psychologist (state requirements) Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and developing interventions for students Proficiency in creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and educational staff Ability to adapt assessments and interventions for students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of students Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports Deliver counseling services to individuals and groups as needed Support crisis intervention, behavioral management plans, and positive behavioral supports Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state regulations Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement This contract position allows for professional autonomy while working alongside dedicated educators.
