Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for credentialing) Strong skills in psychoeducational assessments, individual and group counseling, and educational consultation Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Recent, relevant experience working within a K-12 school setting is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Provide direct counseling services to students and crisis intervention as needed Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote strategies that support student mental health and educational goals Participate actively in IEP meetings, facilitating discussions that focus on positive student outcomes Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
