Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful position supporting elementary students as a school psychologist on a part-time basis (20-25 hours per week) during the academic year. This contract opportunity runs from late July to mid-May, with working hours from 7:30am to 2:40pm—perfect for those who value balance while making a meaningful difference. In this role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to support students in PreK through 8th grade. You'll lead efforts in referral and evaluation processes, developing individualized education programs, and determining the best program placement for students who qualify for special education services. Your expertise in administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments will help shape brighter academic outcomes and promote well-being for each student you support.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid certification and/or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary-aged children (PreK-8th grade preferred) Strong assessment and report-writing skills Comfort leading multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with educators and families Thorough understanding of IEP processes, special education regulations, and best practices in school psychology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Duties:
