Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students in the Phoenix area as a school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time contract opportunity, with assignments available across several elementary schools and one high school. Start your assignment on August 6, 2026, and finish on May 27, 2027, following the school calendar. Your expertise will serve a caseload of approximately 60 students, focusing primarily on evaluations—estimated at 12 per day. Assignments and weekly schedules will vary based on the school served. Schools utilize Google Suite and Synergy; familiarity with these tools is highly valued. All evaluations are conducted via pen and paper, so proficiency in both digital and traditional methods is beneficial. The district values candidates who are proactive, organized, and ready to make an immediate positive contribution.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Active Arizona Department of Education certification in School Psychology required Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Previous experience in K-12 settings preferred Knowledge of Synergy and Google Suite is a plus Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
