Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity working on-site as a School Psychologist at an elementary school close to Chandler, AZ. This is a full-time, in-person position where you will make a profound difference in the academic and emotional lives of students. As an essential support to the educational environment, you will be a key contributor to student success and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Prior experience working in elementary school settings preferred Deep understanding of psychological assessment tools, and knowledge of educational laws and best practices Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs Provide recommendations and interventions that support students' academic and social development Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning of student services Offer crisis intervention and develop strategies for behavioral management Maintain accurate records and stay current on best practices within the field Specific caseload details will be provided soon, allowing you to prepare for tailored student support
