Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Here's an exciting opportunity for a School Psychologist who's ready to make a meaningful difference at a high school level. This is a full-time contract role, offering the chance to positively impact students, educators, and families in a supportive, in-person educational environment near Chandler, AZ. Your workweek will be structured at 37.5 hours, allowing for consistency and collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals. As the caseload will be determined upon placement, adaptability and resourcefulness will be key to success in this position.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Arizona Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies for high school students Effective communicator, able to build rapport with students, staff, and families Experience working within a school setting preferred Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students, providing insightful reports and recommendations Develop and support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance students' learning and mental health outcomes Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Contribute to initiatives aimed at fostering a positive, inclusive school climate This role offers the satisfaction of working alongside passionate educators while empowering students to thrive both academically and personally.
