JOB GOAL

: Under the direction of the school psychologist and supervision of building principal(s) or designee(s), the TOA will support the school psychologist in completing tasks that are related to completing the MET evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to Perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities reguired to be successful:

• Valid Fingerprint Card
• Certified Special Education teacher with teacher certification (preferred)
• Experience working with students with behavioral, emotional and/or learning disabilities
• Has experience with crisis intervention procedures/methods
• Has experience with individual and small group counseling for students with disabilities
• Demonstrates organizational ability
• Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)

RESPONSIBILITIES

ResP-_onsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administers academic assessments. Attend MET and IEP meetings as needed Collaborate with and/or support the student team Page 1 of 3Collaborate with the school psychologist Coordinates communication with teachers and parents. Distributes academic and behavioral rating scales/checklists. Documents various areas of assessment results and data provided by educational team. Gathers input from education team. Manages timelines for receiving information for the MET. Schedules meetings Support the development of the behavior intervention plans Support the development of the functional behavior assessments Supports all psychologists in the school district. Perform all duties assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• 10 months; teacher work schedule.

EVALUATION

• Performance of this position will be evaluated according to the Board's policy on the Related Service Evaluation.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

• Proof of Mumps, Measles and Rubella, (MMR) vaccination.
• Valid government issued identification or current work visa with expiration date.
