Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract If you're a dedicated School Psychologist eager to serve K-12 students, this full-time contract opportunity offers an engaging environment in the Phoenix metropolitan area beginning August 6, 2026 through May 27, 2027. Multiple assignments are available, ranging from three to five days a week at various elementary and high school campuses. Assignments and caseloads will be determined based on current needs, with an estimate of approximately 60 students and around 12 evaluations per day. Flexibility and a proactive mindset are highly valued as you'll step into dynamic school settings that rely on self-directed professionals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Active Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience or familiarity with Synergy and Google Suite is highly desirable Comfortable completing evaluations using traditional pen-and-paper methods Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to varying caseloads Excellent organization and communication skills Self-motivated; able to work independently and integrate smoothly with established teams
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs Provide consultation services for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Ensure all documentation and evaluations meet compliance guidelines Maintain detailed case records and complete necessary paperwork promptly Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education planning This role provides an impactful chance to shape student outcomes in supportive school communities while broadening your professional reach.
