Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic elementary school setting and make a positive impact as a valued School Psychologist. This full-time, in-person opportunity invites you to work collaboratively within a dedicated educational community near Glendale, AZ. As a vital support for students, you'll play a key role in assessing needs, fostering well-being, and facilitating positive learning experiences. Responsibilities include:
Providing direct support and interventions to elementary-aged students in need Conducting psychological and educational evaluations Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design effective support plans Consulting regularly with staff to address student learning and behavioral concerns Supporting implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Advocating for student mental health within the school community Desired qualifications: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary students, strongly preferred Strong understanding of educational assessments, intervention strategies, and counseling skills Excellent communication and collaborative abilities Willingness to adapt as specific caseload details are finalized This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, allowing for full engagement with students and staff—no virtual work required.
