Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing individualized plans, and providing crisis intervention Familiarity with special education law, IEP process, and best practices in student support Strong communication and consultation skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, school-based environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that enhance student learning Contribute to the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide guidance and crisis intervention as needed Deliver individual and group counseling to support students' social-emotional well-being Engage in prevention and intervention initiatives to nurture a positive school climate Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and offer professional recommendations This contract position empowers you to work directly with young learners, educators, and families, making a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.
