Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract If you are passionate about supporting elementary students and want a role where your expertise makes a difference, this contract opportunity is an excellent fit. Serving students from PreK through 8th grade, you will play a crucial role in guiding multidisciplinary teams and helping shape successful outcomes for young learners. This part-time position offers the chance to work between 20-25 hours per week, following a convenient school-day schedule from 7:30am to 2:40pm. Your assignment starts July 27, 2026 and extends through May 20, 2027. All your caseload will be elementary, providing the opportunity to focus and make an impact right where early academic and social development happens.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist Experience working with PreK-8th grade students preferred Strong understanding of special education law and eligibility requirements Skill in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and educational assessments Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the building's multidisciplinary team for referrals, evaluations, IEP development, and program placements for special education services Administer and interpret a variety of psychological and educational evaluations for referred students Partner with staff and families to design and support interventions Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Offer consultation and guidance to faculty and support staff working with students with diverse needs Imagine the fulfillment of facilitating student growth every week, building relationships, and using your expertise to help elementary learners thrive.
