Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting in Mesa, AZ. This contract position offers the chance to support students' academic, emotional, and behavioral development through comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support student well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide special education eligibility determinations and support plans Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare detailed reports on assessments and interventions Provide consultation and training to school staff on strategies to enhance student success and positive school climateDesired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Proven experience in school-based psychological services Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and special education laws Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain thorough documentationLocation:
