Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' academic, social, and emotional success as a dedicated school psychologist through a rewarding full-time contract position. This opportunity offers you the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and specialists to foster a positive school environment, while utilizing your expertise in psychological assessment and intervention.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience with school-age children in educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and behavior management Excellent communication, consultation, and collaborative problem-solving skills Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' strengths and needs Provide individual and group counseling to support social-emotional development Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals regarding interventions and strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and progress monitoring Assist in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans Advocate for student well-being and access to necessary services
