Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in the vibrant Phoenix area as a school psychologist on a contract basis. Positions are available at several elementary and high school sites, with roles tailored to your experience and commitment. Assignments vary, ranging from part-time at specific campuses to full-time positions, all beginning with the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an onsite position, as virtual services do not meet district policy. You will support diverse student populations, typically working with caseloads of approximately 60, and conduct around 12 assessments per day. The district utilizes Google Suite and Synergy for documentation and communication, so prior familiarity with these platforms is an advantage. All evaluations are completed via pen and paper, making organizational skills and attention to detail especially valuable. Candidates who excel in fast-paced settings and demonstrate initiative will thrive in this role. Your work will directly impact students' well-being and contribute to positive academic outcomes.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current School Psychologist credential through the Arizona Department of Education IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred Proficiency with Google Suite and Synergy is highly desirable Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills Capable of independently managing caseloads and evaluations Self-starter mindset, prepared to contribute from day one
