We are looking for a clinical psychologist and post-doctoral resident to join our dynamic behavioral health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to conduct autism assessments for pre-school aged children, in partnership with a local ABA therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for working with young children and expertise in working with children with autism. You will play a vital role in diagnosing and developing treatment plans while utilizing telehealth when appropriate. This paid position provides a supportive environment with a growing psychology practice that provides a professional but relaxed work environment for staff while also providing quality, meaningful care for our patients. Duties Conduct autism assessments and diagnostic evaluations for preschool-aged children suspected of having autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Administer and interpret psychological testing, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments Conduct parent inteviews Provide treatment plans based on evauation results Provide written reports for parents Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate documentation of medical records Engage in crisis intervention when necessary to support patients experiencing acute behavioral or emotional challenges Qualifications Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited institution; post-doctoral residency completed or in progress with focus on pediatric psychology Experience conducting autism evaluations required. Additional ongoing support adn training can be provided as needed. Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice Demonstrated experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities Strong knowledge of psychological testing methods, diagnostic criteria for ASD, and behavioral health interventions Experience delivering evaluation results to families Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely is highly desirable Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical record management Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, schools, healthcare providers, and research teams Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism!
