Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by supporting student success as a School Psychologist working across multiple school sites near Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, contract opportunity starts July 20th and extends through May 21st, 2027, providing stability while allowing you to serve a diverse range of K-6, K-8, and 7-8 grade campuses Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will help guide students, parents, and school staff, especially at campuses with self-contained autism or life-skills classrooms. You will manage 50-55 evaluations per year and utilize IEP Pro to contribute to each student's educational planning. The schools serve a primarily Hispanic population, so bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Active state credential or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist. Experience with psycho-educational evaluations and report writing. Familiarity with IEP Pro or similar electronic IEP platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of K-8 settings and experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or life-skills preferred. Strong communication, cultural competence, and organizational skills. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a distinct advantage.Role Responsibilities:
Conduct timely and accurate psycho-educational evaluations (approx. 50-55/year). Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development. Collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies to create supportive learning environments. Consult on behavioral and academic interventions. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Support culturally responsive practices in all aspects of your work.
