A contract position is available for a dedicated School Psychologist looking to make a difference in the lives of elementary students, ranging from PreK through 8th grade, within a part-time schedule. Located near Phoenix, AZ, this role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning July 27, 2026, and concluding May 20, 2027, with working hours from 7:30am to 2:40pm and a weekly commitment of 20-25 hours.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification and state licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with PreK-8th grade students strongly preferred In-depth knowledge of special education processes and multidisciplinary team practices Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological and educational assessments Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting referral, evaluation, IEP development, and program placement decisions for special education services Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for referred students Interpret results and communicate findings to inform educational planning Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement appropriate interventions and supports Assist in monitoring students' progress and adjusting strategies as needed to promote their educational and emotional well-being Imagine making a positive impact in the lives of elementary-aged students while benefiting from a flexible, part-time schedule.
