Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Seize the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in educational settings by supporting students across PreK-12th grade as a School Psychologist in an engaging, itinerant role. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic work environment where you'll interact with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding students, staff, and families through various academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges, while advancing a healthy learning atmosphere. Comprehensive support and resources await you as you advocate for students' success.
Key Qualifications:
Hold current Arizona School Psychologist Certification Proven skills in school psychology settings, particularly with PreK-12 populations Experience participating in and contributing to IEP meetings Ability to efficiently manage an itinerant caseload and respond effectively to varying school site demands
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to assess student needs Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating on tailored strategies Work with educators, counselors, and families as a trusted resource and advisor Play an active part in crisis interventions, ensuring student safety and support Champion the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process to foster student growth and achievement
