Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with a team to nurture social, emotional, and academic development across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Ideal candidates combine deep knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention with genuine compassion for students and families. You'll play a key role in shaping positive school experiences, facilitating accommodations, and liaising with educators, administrators, and parents.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology or related field (required) Current and valid AZ School Psychologist license Active Arizona fingerprint clearance (IVP) card Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to conduct individual and group assessments Skilled in developing IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and providing crisis intervention
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations across K-12 settings Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support students' academic and emotional growth Develop and implement effective intervention and behavior management strategies Facilitate social skills groups, individual counseling, and crisis response as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and contribute to ongoing program improvement
