Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract About This Assignment A school district near Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a part-time School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is centered around elementary-aged students, with a focus on evaluations, IEP support, and multidisciplinary collaboration. This is an onsite role offering a steady schedule and the ability to work closely with school teams in a supportive environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational and academic evaluations for referred students Lead and support multidisciplinary team processes for referrals and eligibility Participate in IEP development and placement discussions Interpret assessment results and share findings with families and staff Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student learning plans Maintain compliant documentation aligned with special education requirements Ideal Candidate Background Active Arizona School Psychologist certification/license required Experience working with elementary or PreK-8 populations preferred Strong knowledge of IEP processes and evaluation procedures Ability to communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and district staff Organized and detail-oriented with strong report-writing skills
