Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students in the Phoenix area as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity invites you to be an integral part of a dedicated team, serving elementary and high school students across a variety of campuses. You'll provide essential psychological services, directly impacting students' academic and emotional success. Your adaptability will be valued as assignment locations and schedules are based on school needs, ranging from 3 to 5 days per week at specific elementary schools or full-time placements at the high school level. Caseloads typically average around 60 students, involving approximately 12 evaluations per day. Your expertise will help guide instructional teams, families, and students toward meaningful growth.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience in K-12 settings preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy is a plus Comfort completing evaluations with pen and paper Self-motivated professional who can excel independently from day one
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations, interpret results, and collaborate with educational teams Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Offer consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate findings effectively Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district regulations
