Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract position serving students as a School Psychologist in a bustling Phoenix-area academic setting. You'll play a crucial role in supporting elementary and high school-aged students across various campuses. Assignments will reflect individual needs but may include schools such as Brenton, Guerrero, Lowell, Porter, Taft, and Westwood High, as well as a potential placement at a private day school. The position runs from August 6th, 2026, to May 27th, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar. Your day-to-day will focus on student evaluations (anticipated caseloads of around 60, with approximately 12 evaluations per day) and providing comprehensive psychological services—including assessment, consultation, and intervention. This district uses Google Suite and Synergy for day-to-day tasks; comfort with both will be highly valued. Evaluations are completed via pen and paper, so strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are key.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (active) Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in school settings Proficiency with Google Suite and Synergy (preferred) Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Self-driven with the ability to start managing caseloads immediately
