Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract This full-time, year-round opportunity is for a School Psychologist serving a small K-12 district in Springerville, AZ. The district, comprised of four school buildings and approximately 1,100 students, is seeking a dedicated professional to replace a departing psychologist. This contract role offers an impactful chance to make a meaningful difference within a close-knit community.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across all K-12 grade levels. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student mental health and well-being. Assist in creating positive behavioral interventions and supports within the district. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain detailed documentation of services.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 student populations, preferably in a small district setting. Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative skills. Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school buildings. Knowledge of current educational and psychological practices and regulations.
Location:
Springerville, Arizona, servicing four buildings within the district.
