Middle School High School School Psychologist in Surprise, AZ Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Surprise, AZ Job Details Contract 14 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a dynamic educational setting near Surprise, AZ. As a contracted School Psychologist, you'll partner with students, educators, and families to foster positive learning environments and support social-emotional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field Active Arizona school psychologist license Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card Experience providing psychological services within school environments (elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred) Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams Ability to conduct assessments, create intervention plans, and deliver counseling services Commitment to supporting academic, behavioral, and emotional success for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to evaluate students' needs Interpret evaluation results and provide clear, actionable recommendations Develop and participate in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote whole-child wellness Offer individual and group counseling sessions supporting emotional or behavioral challenges Lead or contribute to crisis intervention and prevention strategies within the school community Advocate for inclusive educational practices that foster safe, supportive learning environments This contract opportunity enables you to apply your skills where they matter most—directly impacting students' school experiences and growth.
