Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students from PreK through 12th grade in a dynamic, full-time contract role as a School Psychologist. This position is itinerant, offering the opportunity to work across multiple locations and collaborate with diverse educational teams. You'll play an integral part in creating positive school climates and directly supporting student growth and well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification required Experience with PreK-12th grade populations preferred Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of the MTSS process and crisis intervention strategies Ability to attend and participate in IEP meetings
Core Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to design and implement student support plans Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed Promote positive behavior and support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) initiatives Travel between sites as an itinerant team member serving a diverse PreK-12th grade caseload Candidates in this role will benefit from competitive compensation ranging from $45 to $56 per hour as well as eligibility for healthcare benefits.
