Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference supporting students in Tempe, AZ as a school psychologist. This contract, full-time opportunity offers a 40-hour workweek, working closely with elementary and middle school students. Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification (state licensure for Arizona or eligibility required) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Ability to work effectively with elementary and middle school students Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting a positive learning environmentResponsibilities:
Complete psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for educational planning Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop student-centered interventions Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to support student success Guide and provide counseling as needed, addressing barriers to learning and adjustment Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state policiesBenefits:
