Compensation is a flat, non-negotiable rate of $19.00/hour. As a Psychology doctoral student for Banner Alzheimer's Institute's graduate internship, you will gain hands-on experience in conducting neuropsychology test administration and scoring under the supervision of experienced neuropsychologists. The trainee will develop essential clinical skills including conducting neuropsychology interviews, interpreting test results, and writing comprehensive neuropsychology reports. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in neuropsychology evaluations within a specialized setting focused on Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. You will work alongside our dedicated team of neuropsychologists where you'll build a strong foundation in clinical neuropsychology while contributing to meaningful patient care.

Current enrollment in a Psychology doctoral program Banner University Medical Group is our nonprofit faculty practice plan associated with the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine in Phoenix and Tucson. Our 1,100-plus clinicians provide primary and specialty care to patients at highly ranked Banner - University Medical Centers and dozens of clinics while providing mentorship to more than 1,200 residents and fellows. POSITION SUMMARY
This position typically will be up to one year in length and will work under the direct supervision of a department manager or designee. The position is responsible for expanding experiences and knowledge of practices and procedures as they relate to assigned department and area of study. These activities may include participation in a wide variety of projects.
CORE FUNCTIONS 1.
Expands and develops knowledge with exposure to a variety of roles related to area of study. 2. Participates on work teams, contributes to projects and initiatives, and performs various tasks as needed by the assigned unit/department. 3. Performs research and prepares reports on assigned topics and /or projects when required. 4. Works as a member of a team providing service to internal and external customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in an accredited college program with course work related to the internship or general knowledge normally obtained through the completion of a college degree. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. Must have general knowledge related to the department/unit/area of study.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers may be necessary, depending on assignment. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
