Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Take the next step in your education career by supporting students as a school psychologist on a contract basis near Tucson, AZ. Work directly with children and collaborate with dedicated educators to deliver critical psychological and academic support in a rewarding setting. If you are also open to or have experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Arizona, you are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Experience:
Arizona state licensure as a School Psychologist, SLP, or SLPA (or eligibility to obtain) Master's degree or higher in School Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of special education laws and best practices Excellent organizational skills and a positive, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological or speech-language assessments as required Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or intervention strategies Provide direct support, counseling, or speech-language therapy to students Collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote student success Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) or Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) processes Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with all regulations Take advantage of this opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment where your expertise is valued and every day brings the chance to make a positive impact.
