School Psychologist at Buena Park School District Print Application Deadline 6/10/2026 11:59 PM Pacific Date Posted 6/3/2026 Contact Michele Stein 714-736-4290 Number of Openings 1 Salary Pay dependent on experience Add'l Salary Info Psychologist Salary Schedule (credit may be given for up to 8 years of experience) Length of Work Year 2026-2027 School Year (40% Contract) Employment Type Full Time View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Under general direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services, to diagnose the needs of gifted and learning handicapped children and children experiencing emotionally related problems; to aid in the development of an individual education plan which will enable students with diagnosed educational needs to attain maximum achievement and adjustment; to occasionally counsel students, individually and in groups, using a variety of techniques to aid in the achievement of personal, social, and emotional adjustments; to provide counsel and support pertaining to the delivery of psychological services; and to do other related functions as required.
- Valid CA pupil personnel services credential authorizing service as school psychologist (preschool through 8th grades)
- Two years of experience as a school psychologist, including one year of service as a school psychologist dealing with elementary age children.
