NCW Staffing is currently seeking a Licensed Psychologists for an assignment at a Correctional Facility in Delano, CA. NCW Staffing is actively seeking qualified Psychologist for a contract assignment at a California State Correctional Facility in VDelano, CA. Position Details Pay Rate:

$165.00 per hour

4-6 weeks Available Schedules Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm or tue-Fri 7am-5pm Requirements Active Psychologist license/certification required. Minimum of 12 months of psychologist experience within the last 3 years. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Active Malpractice Insurance Strong English communication and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a correctional healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct mental health assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning for inmate patients. Perform suicide risk assessments and crisis intervention services. Provide individual and group psychotherapy. Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests. Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. Conduct Mental Status Examinations (MSEs). Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment records. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team (IDTT) meetings. Consult with healthcare staff and treatment teams on complex cases. Provide mental health education and support services. Develop therapeutic relationships with inmates and their families/caregivers when appropriate. Assist with program development and rehabilitation initiatives. Ensure compliance with CDCR policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting laws. Work Environment Provides psychological services to incarcerated individuals in a correctional setting. May serve as clinician-of-the-day for emergencies. May require walking long distances, climbing stairs, and conducting face-to-face interviews in housing units. Responsible for maintaining safety and security standards within the facility.
