Job Summary Job Summary Point Quest Group is Hiring a School Psychologist | Starting Pay $50-$80/Hourly | Oakland, CA About the Role As a School Psychologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral success. From providing counseling services to leading assessments and collaborating on IEPs, you'll serve as a key partner to students, families, and school teams. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to making a meaningful impact in a school community. What You'll Do
  • Provide Psychological DIS counseling services in alignment with students' IEPs; maintain and manage an assigned counseling caseload
  • Develop and consult on IEPs and 504 plans using assessment data; design and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Deliver crisis support during school emergencies and provide training to staff on mental health, behavior management, and instructional practices
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, services, and student progress; prepare comprehensive reports for IEP meetings and evaluations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review student progress and develop effective intervention plans What We're Looking For Must Have
  • Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered
  • Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent fingerprint clearance)
  • TB Clearance
  • Eligibility to work in the United States Preferred
  • Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
  • Prior experience working as a school psychologist
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English Physical Demands

      Psychological DIS Counseling:
      Maintains counseling student caseload and provides DIS counseling based on students' IEP.
      IEP & 504
      Plan Support :
      Develop and consult on individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans based on assessment data. Create evidence-based interventions and strategies.
      Crisis Support & Training :
      Provide crisis support during emergencies and offer training to school staff on mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies.
      Documentation & Reporting :
      Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress. Prepare detailed reports for IEP meetings, evaluations, and other necessary documentation.
      Multidisciplinary Collaboration :
      Actively participate in team meetings to review and plan student interventions.
      School Psychologist Qualifications:
      Certification:
      Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered
      Background Check:
      Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance). TB Clearance Eligibility to
