Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support students across grades K-12 in Fremont, CA. This role involves providing specialized psychological services in a school setting, working closely with students in elementary, middle, and high school levels. The position offers a 30-hour workweek over five days, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans. Provide counseling, consultation, and support to address behavioral and learning challenges. Assist in creating individualized educational programs (IEPs) based on assessment findings. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active School Psychologist State License is required. Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred. Strong understanding of child development, psychological testing, and educational interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse educational teams and families. Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases efficiently.
