Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract assignment providing essential support as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting. This role focuses on serving elementary and middle school students, helping foster positive academic and emotional outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and collaborating closely with students, families, and educators.
Qualifications:
Valid California School Psychologist License required Previous experience in K-8 school environments strongly preferred Solid knowledge of psychological assessments and intervention strategies Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting students' academic and emotional development
Key Responsibilities:
Complete approximately 10 psychological assessments during the assignment Deliver psychological services including evaluations, counseling, and consultation Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to design effective intervention plans Provide direct support to students, promoting academic and social-emotional success Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to the IEP process Participate in staff meetings and student support teams as needed Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
