Educational Therapist / Executive Functioning Coach (Full-Time or Part-Time) Mindboost Psychological Services Los Altos, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $85,000 - $100,000 a year 5 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Bilingual Master's degree Bachelor's degree Working with students Organizational skills Full Job Description Educational Therapist / Executive Functioning Coach (Full-Time or Part-Time) Mindboost Psychological Services, Inc. - Los Altos, CA Mindboost Psychological Services, Inc., an established neuropsychology practice in Los Altos, is seeking a dedicated Educational Therapist or Executive Functioning Coach to join our boutique practice. We are committed to providing evidence-based, individualized support for children, adolescents, and young adults with learning, attention, and executive functioning challenges. Both full-time (with benefits) and part-time roles are available. We invest in our team's professional growth and will cover the cost of relevant trainings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group educational therapy and/or executive functioning coaching Address academic remediation (reading, writing, math), study skills, organization, time management, and self-regulation Evidenced based techniques such as Orton Gillingham instruction or Making Math Real etc., are ideal. Paid training is also available. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations Track and communicate progress with families, referring clinicians, and school personnel as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with practice standards Participate in team meetings, case consultation, and ongoing professional development (trainings provided)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in educational therapy, special education, educational psychology, counseling, or related field preferred Certification or credential in Educational Therapy (e.g., ET/P, BCET) or significant experience in executive functioning coaching, special education, or academic intervention Demonstrated expertise in supporting students with learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), ADHD, and/or executive functioning challenges Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Commitment to ongoing professional growth and evidence-based practice Excellent organizational skills are a must
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in private practice, school, or clinical settings Familiarity with neuropsychological assessment reports and educational accommodations Experience with assistive technology and/or structured literacy programs Bilingual or multilingual abilities a plus
