Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Modesto, CA. This full-time role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to assess needs, develop intervention strategies, and support student well-being and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions Support behavior management strategies and positive behavioral interventions (PBIS) Monitor student progress and adjust supports as needed Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment practices Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Experience in a school setting preferred
