Under the leadership of the Assistant Director of Outpatient Services, the Psychologist provides individual evaluation and individual and group outpatient treatment for mental health disorders in children and adolescent outpatients. The Psychologist is a member of the clinical staff and can treat patients in the Ohana program. In addition, the Psychologist provides education on mental health topics to patients, their family members, the community, and other professionals. Candidates with training and certification in specialized therapies (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) or Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) are preferred. Beyond clinical and educational roles, the psychologist will collaborate with the Ohana Clinical Team on program development for emerging treatment settings in Ohana and for community prevention programs. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and broad behavioral health knowledge. The Psychologist is expected to maintain a productivity standard of at least 25 patient-facing billable hours per week. Must have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, curiosity, high energy, humor and humility. Three years minimum prior experience in mental health inpatient and outpatient treatment settings with children and adolescents is required. Administrative or leadership experience or experience with program development is preferred.Education:
PhD in clinical or counseling psychology orPsyD Licensure/Certifications:
State of California Psychology License required with PsyD. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required. MOAB certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire. Will complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and obtain 5150 Professional staff authorization yearly. Equal Opportunity Employer #LI-CF1Assigned Work Hours:
Primarily the schedule will as follows, but subject to change depending on department needs: Monday 8:00am-4:30pm Tuesday 8:00am-4:00pm Wednesday 10:30am-7:00pm Thursday 8:00am-5pm Friday 8:30am-5pmPosition Type:
Regular Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $69.70 to $93.21 The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.Hourly Evening Shift Differential:
